Silver Chariot goes green
IN an effort to go green, the Silver Chariot in the Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Jalan Bandar has changed its
incandescent bulbs to LED (light emitting diode) bulbs. The chariot left for the Batu Caves temple around 12am this
morning to take part in the Thaipusam procession.
